Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi executed a phased rollout of GS1 standards, onboarding suppliers and migrating to GTIN-based data while integrating GS1 barcodes across ERP, pharmacy, inventory, and operating room (OR) workflows. Cross-functional training, real-time scanning adoption, and ongoing performance monitoring enabled rapid improvements in accuracy, compliance, charge capture and patient safety.
